Objective of the Game

The object of Egyptian War is to be the first player to get rid of all of your cards. To do this, you must play cards from your hand to a central pile in the correct order. The game is won when one player has no cards left in their hand.

However, there are a few twists that make the game more challenging. For example, players can slap the pile under certain circumstances to win cards or force other players to take cards. How To Play Egyptian War

  1. Shuffle the deck of cards and deal them out evenly to all players.
  2. Players take turns playing cards from their hands to a central pile.
  3. Cards must be played in ascending order (Ace, 2, 3, etc.) and must match the suit of the card on top of the pile.
  4. If a player cannot play a card, they must take the entire pile into their hand.
  5. If a player plays a face card (Jack, Queen, King), the next player must play a face card or take the pile.
  6. If a player plays an Ace, the next player must play a card of the same suit or take the pile.
  7. If a player plays a card that matches the rank of the card on top of the pile (e.g. playing a 7 on top of a 7), the next player must play a card of the same rank or take the pile.
  8. If a player slaps the pile when they are not supposed to, they must take the entire pile into their hand.
  9. If a player slaps the pile when they are supposed to, they win the pile.
  10. The game is won when one player has no cards left in their hand.

Keeping Score

In Egyptian War, there is no official scoring system. However, some players choose to keep track of the number of piles won by each player. The player with the most piles at the end of the game is declared the winner.
