Cards Used
Hez is played with a standard deck of playing cards, with no jokers. The number of decks required depends on the number of players. For 2-3 players, use one deck. For 4-6 players, use two decks.

How To Play Hez
- Shuffle the deck and deal the cards evenly among the players.
- Place the remaining cards in a draw pile in the center of the table.
- The player to the left of the dealer goes first, playing a card from their hand to the table.
- The next player must play a card of the same suit or rank as the card that was played before them. If they cannot, they must draw a card from the draw pile.
- If a player cannot play a card or draw a card, they must pass their turn.
- The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game!
Keeping Score
In Hez, the winner of each round earns one point. The game continues until one player reaches a predetermined number of points, usually 5 or 10.
