How To Play Knock Poker

  1. Shuffle the deck of cards and deal each player five cards.
  2. Place the remaining cards in a draw pile in the center of the table.
  3. Players take turns drawing one card from the draw pile or the discard pile and then discarding one card from their hand.
  4. The goal is to create the best possible hand of five cards, with hands ranked in the following order:
    • Five of a kind
    • Straight flush
    • Four of a kind
    • Full house
    • Flush
    • Straight
    • Three of a kind
    • Two pairs
    • One pair
    • High card
  5. Once a player has created a hand they believe is the best possible hand, they can knock on the table to signal the end of the round.
  6. At this point, all other players have one more turn to try to improve their hand.
  7. Once all players have had their final turn, hands are revealed and the player with the best hand wins the round.
  8. Players score points based on the rank of their hand, with the winner of the round receiving a bonus.
  9. The game continues until a player reaches a predetermined number of points, at which point they are declared the winner.
