How To Play Six Card Golf

  1. Shuffle the deck of cards and deal six cards to each player.
  2. Place the remaining cards in a draw pile in the center of the table.
  3. Players look at their cards and choose two to place face down in front of them. These cards are not used for the rest of the game.
  4. The player to the left of the dealer goes first. They draw one card from the draw pile and either swap it with one of their cards or discard it face up.
  5. The next player then takes their turn, drawing a card and either swapping it with one of their cards or discarding it face up.
  6. Play continues clockwise around the table until all players have had a turn.
  7. At the end of the round, players reveal their hands and add up the total value of their cards. Aces are worth one point, face cards are worth ten points, and all other cards are worth their face value.
  8. The player with the highest score at the end of the round gets a point, and the player with the lowest score gets zero points.
  9. Play continues for several rounds, with players swapping out cards and trying to get the lowest score possible.
  10. The player with the lowest score at the end of the game is the winner!

Players keep score by adding up the total value of their cards at the end of each round. The player with the lowest score at the end of the game is the winner!
