How To Play Sixty-Six
- Shuffle the deck and deal six cards to each player.
- Place the remaining cards in a draw pile, and turn over the top card to start the discard pile.
- The player to the left of the dealer goes first. They can either draw a card from the draw pile or pick up the top card from the discard pile.
- The player then tries to win tricks by playing a card from their hand. The other player must follow suit if possible.
- The player who wins the trick leads the next trick.
- The round ends when all cards have been played. The player who won the most tricks scores points.
- The game continues until one player reaches 66 points.
Keeping Score
Each player starts with zero points. The player who wins the most tricks in each round scores points as follows:
- First player to win 7 tricks: 0 points
- First player to win 8 tricks: 1 point
- First player to win 9 tricks: 2 points
- First player to win all 6 tricks: 3 points
The first player to reach 66 points wins the game.
