How To Play Thirty-One
- Shuffle the deck of cards and deal three cards to each player.
- Place the remaining cards in a draw pile in the center of the table.
- Players take turns drawing a card from the draw pile or the discard pile and then discarding a card.
- The goal is to collect cards that add up to a total of 31 points.
- Face cards are worth 10 points, aces are worth 11 points, and all other cards are worth their face value.
- Players can swap cards with the draw pile or with other players to try to improve their hand.
- When a player thinks they have a hand worth 31 points, they knock on the table.
- Play continues until all players have had a turn after the player who knocked.
- Players then reveal their hands and the player with the highest score wins.
