How To Play Three Thirteen
- Shuffle the deck and deal each player 13 cards.
- Place the remaining cards in a draw pile in the center of the table.
- Turn over the top card of the draw pile to start the discard pile.
- Players take turns drawing a card from the draw pile or the discard pile and then discarding a card from their hand.
- The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game.
Keeping Score
Players earn points for the cards left in their hand at the end of each round. The winner of the round earns zero points, and all other players earn points based on the cards left in their hand. Aces are worth one point, face cards are worth ten points, and all other cards are worth their face value. The game is played until one player reaches a predetermined score, such as 100 points.
