How To Play Tien Len
- Shuffle the deck and deal the cards to all players.
- The player with the 3 of Spades starts the game by playing it in the middle of the table.
- Players must follow suit and play higher cards to win each trick. The player who wins the trick starts the next one.
- Players may also play sets of cards of the same rank. Sets must contain at least three cards.
- If a player cannot follow suit, they may play any card(s) they wish.
- The game is won by the first player to get rid of all of their cards.
Keeping Score
The player who wins the game earns one point. The first player to reach a predetermined number of points, usually 7 or 13, wins the match.
